About the opportunity:
Avenue Code is looking for an exceptional Administrative Assistant to support our Legal and Finance teams. The position will provide exposure to operations of a global company and experience in legal and financial matters. The role is highly dynamic and is well-suited for those who enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your main responsibility will be supporting our internal legal and finance department in all matters. Specifically, your role will help support payroll and payment processing, timesheet management, legal and financial compliance, preparation of employment-based visa applications, and contract management.
What will stand out:
● Excellent communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
● A high comfort level typing, navigating the internet and using the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
● Experience with Adobe Acrobat
● Critical thinking - you understand nuance and can read between the lines
● Dependable and punctual
● Strong attention to detail and follow-through
● Accustomed to multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
● Highly organized and detail oriented, including an ability to affectively prioritize tasks
● Experience with timekeeping software preferred, but not required.
● Prior experience in immigration administration preferred.
